You will have to write a short 4-page summary of a book that I will assign to you at the beginning of the semester. This part of the project should be completed individually, but I encourage you to work with other members of your group (i.e., discuss ideas, examples, relevance of readings, etc.). As you write your review, I want you to focus on the following questions:

• What is this book about (main themes, ideas, etc.)
• Why are these ideas relevant?
• How can you connect the ideas/themes studied in class to the ideas in the book?

The book may contain many ideas (and examples). If this is the case, I want you to pick the three main ideas that you found most interesting/relevant. Finally, I would like you to support your points (above) by providing relevant examples from the book (that is, you have to show me that you have actually read the book; or the assigned chapters).

Your paper should be 4-pages long (1.5 spacing, Times New Roman, standard margins). Please print and turn in your article at the beginning of class on Nov 7.
